ASMR: Peaceful Slumber
End the day with gratitude. There is someone, somewhere that has less than you.
Feel the comfort of your bed, your pillow, and the soft fabric that is caressing your body.
You feel so comforted, so secure, so at ease.
Gently relax your mind, relax your body.
Relax your jaw so that you are not clenching your teeth.
Make sure your neck and shoulders are at ease.
Also, loosen the grip of your hands.
Take a few moments as you gently inhale and exhale.
Let your breaths help you to release any tension in the body.
Let them help you to restore your sense of peace and balance.
Remember that your thoughts are not your enemies.
If you have rising thoughts, acknowledge them and let them go.
Then come back to your breath.
Continue to observe your breath.
As you do so, your breath seems to bring you through a rhythm of rising and falling.
When you breathe in, you seem to rise and expand.
And when you exhale, you seem to sink deeper into your bed.
Take a few moments to enjoy this peace and quiet.
There is no need to rush, take your time.
